Atom Moore has done it again, capturing a beautiful macro of the 2018 Lang & Heyne Tourbillon, ‘Anton.’ The Anton features a manual winding Caliber IX with a flying minute-tourbillon visible through a sunken aperture. This stunning dial is a two-part Grand Feu white enamel that compliments the main rose gold coloring and features “Made in Saxony” under the aperture. The piece’s name refers to Anton the Kind, a king of Saxony who had a remarkable full name: Anton Clemens Theodor Maria Joseph Johann Evangelista Johann Nepomuk Franz Xavier Aloys Januar. It seems fitting that such a quality watch would be named after a man known for his own quality and character.
