Macro Monday: Ludovic Ballouard Upside Down Aventurine

This week we have an Atom Moore macro of the Ludovic Ballouard Upside Down in aventurine. The patented “Upside Down” movement in-house caliber B01 developed by Ludovic Ballouard is an elegant and robust movement it’s a pleasure to see in person. Each hour stays upside down until it is the correct hour for that number/time, then rotates to the proper position. Creator Ballouard originally found an interest in radio controlled model aircrafts when someone suggested to him that he attend a school for watchmaking. He ended up moving to Switzerland to follow his passions and is known for eccentric design. He believes that “The most important time is the present" and endeavors to remind people of that with his creations.
