This week we have an Atom Moore macro of the Rolex Vintage Submariner Explorer Dial. The Explorer dial Submariners are still highly sought after by many collectors. This model went into production in the 1950s and early 1960s and is not often seen today, making it a particularly coveted treasure for some collectors to find.

40mm in diameter, the watch features a caliber 1530 automatic movement with 26 jewels. The stainless steel Oyster case watch has gold indexes and the “3,6, 9 dial” of the Explorer design. The case is also equipped with clearly defined pointed crown guards and an exclamation point dial. A luminescent dot below the 6 index indicates the lower radioactivity of the dial.

Standing out at any auction with its classic style and charisma, this watch is one to keep an eye out for.
